At some point in our needlepoint journey we seem to all entertain the "Ornament Project."  Ornaments are stitched with love, sometimes embroidered on the back with the year and recipients name, and given generously.  A lot of times all recipients get a varied version of the same ornament to commemorate the year.  OUR LOVED ONES ARE SO LUCKY!

I'd like to walk through Ann's Angel series today.  These angels were designed in 2022.  We did have a canvas club that stitched all 8 in spaced out timing with fantastic stitch guides by David Schaff.  Since the club has ended, all angels are available to purchase separately, with or without the threads and stitch guides.

I love the detail and differing design of each angel.  Ann is known for her leopard designs, so the leopard angel is a favorite!

I love the sweet flowers on this next angel.  The embellishment options for the flower blooms are endless!

You can get creative and change the hair color to match your recipient...

David changed up some colors of small items - the collar on one angel, the hair on another, the shade of brown, etc.  You can swap out colors to make your angel as personal as you possibly can.

There are 8 different angel designs in this series.  See all of them online at https://www.barbarasneedlepoint.com/collections/angel-series
